Description:
This National Day of Service is the largest of its kind, annually over 3 million Americans work together to complete community based projects through volunteer efforts.
Each year on Make A Difference Day, community volunteers participate in a project that addresses critical community needs. This year?s efforts are centered on the Lowell Neighborhood located between the Historic Tower District and Downtown. Projects include: Clean-up & beautification of Belmont Avenue from Blackstone to Fulton Street; beautification of Lowell School; paint touch-ups; clean-up of 80 vacant lots. Help us plant daffodils as a symbol of hope and renewal. There are also projects in West Fresno and a soccer clinic at Lion?s Park sponsored by Fresno City Council Member Blong Xiong.
