• Ensuring a Volunteer and Civic Centered Focus-we must focus on creating hands on experiences that encourage volunteers and civically engaged people to be the lever for change.
• Working to build the "Power of We"-believing we can do more together than alone. We will build strong partnerships with groups that will create needed action, innovation and impact in our communities, empowering people to be the center of community change.
• Driving Demonstrable Impact-in order to leverage the power of volunteerism, we must create higher accountability for impact by better measuring and communicating the resulting changes in individuals, institutions and communities. Our focus areas will be: restore schools as centers of community revitalization, conserve and preserve the earth and drive community development and poverty alleviation.
• Creating A Sustainable Nonprofit Model-Internally we are developing a business plan that will allow us to be responsive to the needs of our communities modeling the effective use of volunteers. Externally, we will build the capacity of the community to effectively utilize volunteers.
