Mission: USTA Northern California, located in Alameda, California, is a nonprofit volunteer-based organization with over 35,000 adult members, over 8,000 junior members and approximately 650 organization members throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada. USTA Northern California is one of the 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association. The USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in the U.S. and the leader in promoting and developing the growth of tennis at every level -- from local communities to the highest level of the professional game. It owns and operates the US Open, the largest annually attended sporting event in the world.
