We are recruiting individuals and families to volunteer for a series of high-profile, environmentally themed Green Challenge events and volunteer opportunities. These opportunities will cover many aspects of environmental stewardship including a baylands and river bed clean-up, planting of native vegetation (wildlife habitat preservation), and neighborhood "green" canvassing in eight Bay Area cities to promote energy conservation in the home.

We are seeking to mobilize thousands of volunteers for four official Green Challenge events and a number of other opportunites with various community partners in the coming year. We are seeking volunteers from all backgrounds and abilities, especially those from corporations, churches, schools, service organizations, youth groups, non-profits and many other entities.
