Description:
Adults or College Students are needed to assist with a Camp FIre USA Club for Children living in a high Density Appartment Complex in Greenbelt Maryland. The volunteers will deliver Camp Fire USA club program on a weekly basis to children ages 5-17. The program will include activities in the arts, out of doors, leadership, self-reliance, sports and games, nature, cooking and much more. Youth will be divided into small groups based on age and program level. More information on our programs can be found at www.campfireusa-patuxent.org
These adults build a relationship with the children and as such reliablity is a very important component of the volunteer committment.

Time Details:
Date and time will vary depending on the age group being served. The time committment including setup and cleanup will be about 3 hours per week. Training is required. Tuesday program is from 6:30-8:30, Wed Program is 3-5. Friday Program is 4-6
Must have reliable transportation--SIte on a Bus route
Must committ to work for duration of the program 9 months
Must complete training
Must complete a background check and application process
Must be good with children
Will be supervised by CAmp Fire USA staff.
