How to Get Started:
Getting started is quick and free! If you are a prospective volunteer and would like to create a free account, simply click here and fill in the appropriate information including a section based on your skill/experience. Once you have completed the registration process, you are ready to begin to search for volunteer opportunities.
If you are an agency representative and would like to register your agency for a free account, please contact the Volunteer Action Center at 570-829-6711, ext. 222.
What is the Volunteer Action Center?
The Volunteer Action Center, a division of United Way of Wyoming Valley, serves as a community resource matching skills and interests of volunteers with the needs of nonprofit agencies providing services in Luzerne County.
Interested in a Particular Organization?
Click on Browse Organizations in the column to the left to quickly find the many agencies that have listed volunteer opportunities on this site. Some of the agencies registered with the Volunteer Action Center have not yet posted their opportunities on this site. Note: Clicking "Name" at the top of the column will list the organizations alphabetically to help you search more quickly.
Be sure to sign up for the Volunteer Alert to be automatically notified of opportunities that match your search criteria as they become available.
