Descripción:
The Front Porch Library is a neighborhood children's lending library that gets books into the hands of kids to promote literacy, community, and fun. We need a Volunteer Coordinator to communicate with our volunteers concerning monthly events and weekly tutoring, track volunteer hours, acknowledge volunteer contributions, and assist in cultivating new volunteers and community service partners.

Library hours occur in the afternoons on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Volunteer Coordinator hours are flexible -- some work could be done at home using email and telephone. Total hrs 2-3/wk.
computer savvy; sturdy and able to work (some) in an unairconditioned space -- the library is literally on a screened Front Porch; trustworthy; and, independent w/ strong leadership skills.
