Description:
Volunteers will participate in the ELVIS (Early Literacy Volunteer Instruction and Support) Program. This program was designed to focus on the various types of early learning programs including: child care centers, family child care homes and informal child care providers. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with a child care classroom for one hour a week for eight weeks.

Time Details:   Times vary based upon the child care program a volunteer participates at. Morning times are from 9:00 to 11:30 and afternoon times are from 3:00 to 4:30. Each visit takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
