Volunteers are needed to help answer local & state-wide hotlines that provide short-term crisis counseling, information, & referrals. Applicants must possess a motivation to help people, a non-judgmental attitude, an ability to empathize, and agree to a 200-hour/one-year volunteer commitment.

Volunteers Needed:   35 , Flexible
Special Requirements:   Must be fluent in English (including speaking and comprehending). This includes an ability to establish a relationship with callers, identify their problems, reflect their feelings and explore their alternatives. Bilingual ability (especially Spanish and Haitian Creole) is a plus.
