Description:
Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation is dedicated to caring for orphaned and injured wildlife in Mississippi. MWR will hold workshops to train volunteers in all aspects of wildlife rehabilitation. Topics include initial care, fluid therapy, basic triage, feeding and nutrition, care in captivity, state and federal laws governing wildlife in Ms., zoonotic diseases, "what you don't know can hurt you" and release criteria.
Must have own transportation; Must be able to care for infants with feeding schedules every 2 to 4 hours during the daytime; cannot take animals to work or school; must be serious and dedicated.
