Great High Line Canal Clean Up
Help reduce the amount of trash being discharged from the High Line Canal to the Sand and Toll Gate Creeks and volunteer for the Great High Line Canal Clean Up from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 20.  In addition to cleaning up the 11-mile stretch of the portion of the canal that runs through Aurora, the event is a great way to learn about the problems caused by littering and the importance of protecting and caring for our waterway.  Min. age: 8.   Contact Mary Dawson at 303-739-7372 or mdawson@auroragov.org.

Mentor Training
Support Aurora's youth in making positive choices by mentoring a child.  On Saturday, March 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a training session will be held for the Sports Buddies program.  For more information and to register, contact Michelle Cherniske at 303-433-6002 x537 or michellec@biglittlecolorado.org.

Colfax Community Network Family Night Dinner
Volunteer your cooking, serving and cleaning talents during a monthly Family Night Dinner on Thursday, March 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for families that reside in low-income, transient housing along East Colfax Avenue.  The dinner is sponsored by Colfax Community Network.  Min. age: 16 (flexible if volunteer is with a parent).  Contact Mandie Birchem at 303-360-9175 or mandie_ccn@hotmail.com.

PROS Volunteer Clean Up
Help us to create healthy environments for people, nature and community by joining with other volunteers to clean-up an Aurora Parks, Recreation & Open Space (PROS) property on Saturday, March 27 at 9 – 11 a.m.  Minimum age: none with adequate adult supervision.  Contact Justin Clark at 720-272-5388 or jlclark@auroragov.org.
