Our mission is to foster volunteerism, creating an environment that engages more people effectively to help solve serious social problems and improve the quality of people's lives; both the lives of the volunteers, and the lives of all citizens benefiting from their services.
Brunswick County Volunteer Center:
Serves as an information resource for county non-profits
Coordinates volunteers as part of the Emergency Management Services department
Coordinates a calendar of events and meetings for non-profits, service clubs and county departments
Helps to develop effective solutions for community issues
Coordinates Make a Difference Day in Brunswick County
Serves as coordinator for the North Carolina Governor's Award for Volunteerism in Brunswick County
Celebrates annually National Volunteer Week with a Volunteer Reception
Coordinates Keep Brunswick Beautiful and Countywide Litter Sweep

The Brunswick County Volunteer Center is part of county government and supported fully by county government and the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners. It exists to help all county citizens, county non-profit organizations and county departments with volunteer needs.
