Community Resource Network offers the following programs for interested individuals, businesses and nonprofits:

Board Initiative - We have been helping companies place their employees on nonprofit boards since 1982. Employees gain enhanced leadership, communication and management skills. Board service also provides an opportunity to network with other leaders while they use their business and professional skills to provide strong leadership to nonprofit organizations.

• For Nonprofit Organizations - The program has been recruiting and placing skilled profesionals on nonprofit boards throughout metropolitan Chicago since 1982. These board members provide critical leadership and expertise to assist organizations in carrying out their mission. This program provides organizations with broader access to individuals with the skills they need. Download an application form here.

Chicagovolunteer.net - This website is our electronic center for volunteerism throughout metropolitan Chicago. It is the primary resource for company employee volunteer programs to use to promote volunteer opportunities to employees. It can save you resources and time by making it easy to find nonprofit organizations that match your company's philanthropic goals.

Group Employee Volunteer Projects - We link groups of employees with nonprofit organizations to meet community needs and help businesses fulfill their corporate social responsibility goals. Choose a project from our monthly calendar or let us customize a project based on your group's interests.

Training and Consultation for Businesses - We offer workplace volunteer menu packages for businesses. We will develop a package that works best to meet your company’s philanthropic goals, the interests of your employees and the vital needs of the community.

Training and Consultation for Nonprofits - Our team provides one-on-one consultation or training sessions to nonprofit and public sector organizations to develop new volunteer programs or to increase the effectiveness of existing programs.

Directory of Health and Human Services - We publish the most comprehensive listing of health and social services in the six-county area.
