Description:
Help seniors who don't drive get to doctor's appointments, shopping and other locations on the West End. Pick up and drop off clients in the OlyCAP van following a schedule, provide physical assistance to passengers as needed, perform light routine vehical maintenance as required, and keep daily records of passengers. A great opportunity to meet new people and see the sights! You should be reliable and punctual, friendly, empathetic, and able to work independently. Good defensive driving skills and quick reflexes are also very important.

Special Requirements:   Valid driver license, insurance and an insurable driving record. -- Successful completion of orientation and training as necessary. -- All OlyCAP volunteer positions require confidentiality agreements and criminal background checks. These requirements are in no way a reflection on the volunteer, but represent our best efforts to protect the well-being and privacy of the vulnerable populations we serve.
