Description:
Help run Northwest Passage Thrift Shop by sorting and organizing donations, helping with donation pickups and helping customers with carrying heavier donations. You should be friendly, have good communication skills and some knowledge of retail prices. Knowledge of antiques and collectibles a plus. Proceeds from the thrift shop support OlyCAP's programs helping low-income community members.

Who & How
Volunteers Needed:   4 , Flexible
Special Requirements:   This is a physically demanding volunteer position. You'll be lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs on occasion. You'll also need to be able to bend, stoop and kneel, sit, and stand. The cleaning area is outdoors, so you should be able to withstand outdoor temperature for long periods of time. ~ All OlyCAP volunteer positions require confidentiality agreements and criminal background checks. These requirements are in no way a reflection on the volunteer, but represent our best efforts to protect the well-being and privacy of the vulnerable populations we serve.
