Schuylkill County will celebrate it's 200th anniversary in 2011. There will be a year-long schedule of events to educate the public as well as festivities to mark this milestone year. Volunteers are needed throughout the year. If you'd like to join us in commemorating 200 years, you can find opportunities posted in the Schuylkill County Bicentennial Committee account in the "browse organizations" link. We also have a Community Contact Program of trained neighbors within the community who can help direct those in need to the Human Service agency that can best help them.
