Volunteer Center, United Way of Hancock County, has as its purpose to foster the commitment of volunteerism in Findlay and Hancock County. This shall be achieved in the following manner:

• attracting, recruiting, and assisting individuals who wish to volunteer their time and talents;
• providing technical assistance to non-profit boards and organizations through consultation and training;
• providing training services on volunteer programming;
• promoting the need for volunteers within our community;
• recognizing volunteers and volunteerism;
• developing youth programs;
• developing the financial resources to obtain the goal of increased volunteer support for non-profit organizations within Findlay and Hancock County.
