Description:
Friendly Visitor Volunteers visit with a terminally ill patient 1-2 hours per week. During the visit, the volunteer may read to the patient, take the patient outside for fresh air, or simply sit quietly and hold the patient's hand. Volunteer must mail in visit notes upon completion of visit.

Volunteers are needed 1-2 hours per week anytime between 8 am and 8 pm
Must provide own transportation. Must be dependable. Must attend scheduled training and meetings. Must have ability to relate to terminally ill patients and their special needs.
