Hanover County Dept of Community Resources works with citizens, government departments and non-profit agencies in Hanover County.  Our goal is to assist in finding specific resoruces to address individual needs as well as to address community needs by facilitating the development, enhancement and coordination of community assets.  Our Volunteer Services Program provides technical support to registered agencies, Hanover County departments and other community organizations to develop and strengthen volunteer management, promote volunteer opportunities and community service to meet the needs of residents in Hanover county which  includes Ashland, Beaverdam, Doswell, Mechanicsville and Montpelier.
