Welcome to Volunteer Connections
A Program of the Human Services Council
Volunteer Connections recruits and interviews interested volunteers matching their skills, talents, interests, and time availability to appropriate volunteer assignments. We have agreements with over 250 non-profit organizations, hospitals, nursing homes and government agencies where volunteers can assist. Volunteer Connections also works with organizations to identify meaningful volunteer opportunities and develop innovative assignments that meet specific community needs. Volunteer Connections serves Clark County and the cities within its boundaries.
All volunteers 55+ are automatically registered as Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) volunteers. Besides experiencing the genuine joys of volunteer work, additional benefits are available through RSVP such as insurance coverage, an invitation to the Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, and free subscription to our monthly newsletter located in the Senior Messenger Newspaper.
If you have time to give to your community then register as a volunteer by going to: Login, Create an Account, Volunteer. Find opportunities online or we can sit down with you in person and walk you through the volunteer decisions of what, where, and how much time you give. Make a difference in your community, keep your skills active, learn new ones, and make new friends!
If you are an Organization wanting to form a strong partnership of identifying meaningful opportunities for volunteers in Clark County, recognize volunteers for their services, and respond to our community's most critical needs, then register your Organization by going to: Login, Create an Account, Organization.
Together we can all make a difference in Clark County!
