What
Description:
Celebrate history and participate during a multi-generational annual event celebrating the announcement of the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in Maryland. Volunteers needed to assist with event set-up/break-down at the different sites (assembling small tents, setting out chairs and tables); manning information tables and assisting with event parking. Celebrations will be held at the Underground Railroad Experience in Sandy Spring, the Oakley Cabin in Brookeville, and at the Josiah Henson Site (Uncle Tom's Cabin) in Bethesda.
