Description:
Help make the upcoming holidays a joyous time for our clients who are experiencing homelessness. In our emergency shelter and our transitional and permanent housing programs, we serve families with children, adults with mental illness, and other homeless single adults. You can help make this a wonderful holiday season by fulfilling a wish list or holding your own collection drive.
The possibilities are endless for ways that you can help:
•Hold a gift card drive for Target, Wal-Mart, Giant or Safeway gift cards
oGreat way for our clients to learn to budget and to choose presents for their own children
•Movie ticket or restaurant (fast food) gift card drive
•Hold a used IPod or MP3 player drive
•Baking kits so out families can start a regular holiday tradition
•Drives for new toys, toiletries, movies, socks and long underwear, etc.
•Request client wish lists to fulfill individual needs
•Many, many more ways to contribute! Just contact us!
More information on collection drives can be found on our website at www.mcch.net. If you would like to schedule a collection drive or donation please contact Teri Brenits at teri@mcch.net or Amanda Lewis at amlewis@mcch.net. Thank you and we look forward from hearing from you!
