The Fremont Area Community Foundation
The Fremont Area Community Foundation (FACF) is one of the largest community foundations in the nation on a per capita basis, serving a population of nearly 50,000 with assets around $185 million. In 2004, the FACF Board of Trustees approved grants of over $9 million to non-profit agencies within Newaygo County, Michigan. We are located in the middle of the rural, west-Michigan city of Fremont, known to many as the ¿Baby Food Capital of the World¿ and home to Gerber Products.
