Enjoy being outdoors? Want to help local families in the community? Then volunteer on our jobsite!
Georgetown Habitat is looking for volunteers to come build with our affiliate on a regular basis. Volunteers with little to no construction experience are welcome to participate, and we offer on-site training for those "green" to the jobsite.
Our latest build site, Old Mill Village, promises housing for 20 families by 2009. We finished our first five houses in February 2007 and are currently scheduling volunteers for our Fall and Spring builds.

A normal build days lasts from 7:45 am-4pm. Volunteers are asked to come at the start of build day and stay for the duration. If a volunteer has to leave early in the build day, please remember to notify your volunteer supervisor at the jobsite.
1) Volunteers must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
2) Volunteers must fill out an online application and volunteer forms before they can register for the jobsite
