It's a New Day in LIve Oak and Soquel!- We are looking for 60 volunteer leaders to be the difference in our local neighborhoods. Join us for a day of community canvassing.

The Redevelopment Agency of Santa Cruz County (RDA) is preparing to develop a Five Year Implementation Plan for Live Oak and Soquel and would like public input about how to best meet the needs of the community. RDA was created to re-invest our tax dollars in public infrastructure projects and affordable housing. In partnership we can determine how these tax dollars are spent in our neighborhoods.

Support the effort to make government inclusive and transparent by informing fellow community members about upcoming workshops in May and June. Canvass local neighborhoods to encourage individuals to take charge of the health and vitality of our community by attending these workshops.
Volunteers are needed for canvassing on May 2-3 and May 16-17 from 10-2PM

As neighbors, each of us has an integral role to play in enhancing the quality of life for one another. When so many people are struggling to make ends meet, we need everyone pulling together to generate innovative solutions. Together, we can ensure that local government works effectively for us and with us.
