As part of Disney Parks’ “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” program announced on Sept. 29, The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County hopes to inspire families in Santa Cruz to do volunteer work in 2010 – and there’s a magical way to celebrate the good deed. Beginning Jan. 1, Disney Parks is celebrating the volunteer spirit with a free one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park to 1 million people who perform community service for a participating organization. Right now, families can visit
www.DisneyParks.com to learn more about the program and how to get their free Disney park ticket. Many local opportunities are available! We encourage you to visit the site and sign up for your free ticket to Disney Parks
Due to the severe weather a majority of MLK Day Volunteer Opportunities have been rescheduled. Registered Disney Day participants have received further instruction about rescheduling their opportunity and updated information about how to proceed. If you did not receive this information but would like to, please email a request to vista@scvolunteercenter.org
