Description:
Care Help of Sulphur - Volunteer Wheels & More provides free transportation to residents of Sulphur/Carlyss, primarily for medical appointments. Volunteers are asked to give 3 hours a week or 3 hours a month to help their neighbor remain independent in their own home.

Care Help is a non-profit organization whose mission is "to express the love of God through ministry to those in need by supplying short-term assistance and promoting life skills" to residents of Sulphur. Cash & non-cash assistance includes utility bills, rent, medication, food, furniture, household items, clothing and appliances.

In addition to Wheels & More, Care Help also offers computer classes, life skill classes and Bible study, all at no cost to recipients.

Special Requirements:   Volunteers must be aged 18 and over with a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance. A compassionate spirit is helpful. Attendance at a one-hour training session is required. Volunteer liability insurance is provided.
