Volunteer Central of Greater Tulsa, Inc. serves the greater Tulsa region by promoting volunteerism, building capacity through education and certification, connecting individuals of all ages, backgrounds,  interests and passions with volunteer opportunities, and mobilizing citizens for targeted community needs. Through 1800volunteer.org, volunteers search for local opportunities, and not-for-profit, service, and civic organizations post needs for one-time events and projects or ongoing assignments. Organizations and individuals exhibit commitment to volunteerism through the Associates Program with e-news, training,  networking, recruitment and recognition, certification, professional development, networking, consultation, program management, resource/reference library, free consultation and reduced fees for background checks, media exposure.
