About United Way of Midland Volunteer Center

The United Way Volunteer Connections of Midland County engages volunteers to improve the quality of life within our community. We do this by recruiting and matching volunteers with opportunities offered by over 200 area non-profits, schools, churches and service clubs. In 2009, over 800 new volunteers were connected with opportunities to serve. In addition to the Volunteer Connections' referral program, we coordinate Ask the Lawyer, Day of Caring, Season of Caring, Rake A Difference, Lunch Box Learners and Sharing Tree programs.

Volunteering is such a rewarding experience that volunteers say they get far more out of it than they feel they put in. There are so many different opportunities that one is sure to fit your interests, time and talents. Check out the openings and "Express Interest"!
