Description:
We are a 24-hour hotline service providing emotional support, information and referrals to callers. Staff and volunteers provide hospital support 24-hours a day. An advocate can accompany the individual to the hospital and stay with him or her throughout the medical examination. We also provide court & police support by accompanying the individual during police questioning and throughout the court systems. Rape Crisis provides individuals, family and group therapy. This service is provided at no charge and is strictly confidential. Counseling services are provided by a licensed professional clinical counselor. Staff and volunteers also provide prevention education programs for a wide variety of audiences covering topics such as stranger danger and date rape.
