The Volunteer Connection is...

The Volunteer Connection is the place where people who want to help are connected with people who need help.  The center has four goals:

• Promoting local volunteerism
• Involving youth in volunteer activities and benefiting youth through volunteer activities
• Providing education and training for volunteers through the Boardwalk Series
• Recognizing volunteer accomplishments

How does the Volunteer Connection fulfill these goals?

• Through our computer databank, we connect volunteers to area nonprofit agencies and organizations seeking volunteer help.
• We recruit volunteers.  Our agency is open to all adults and youth who want to volunteer.
• We assist businesses with developing or expanding their own volunteer programs.
• We offer training through our not-for-profit leadership development seminars.
• We provide recognition of volunteers and volunteer accomplishments in the community.
