Quick Guide to Searching Our Opportunities 
Volunteer opportunities are searchable by city or zip code, or, when clicking on “Advanced Search”, by organization issue area or population served. You can search for volunteer opportunities anonymously, but in order to contact organizations directly about the opportunities posted in the system you must first create an account.

To do this, click the “Create Account” tab at the top right corner of this page. If you are creating an account, please follow the instructions and fill out the “Basic Information” and “Skills and Availability” sections.

You may now search opportunities by Keyword, Zip Code or City and State using the search bar. For more search options, you may click on “Advanced Search”.  Advanced Search allows you to search opportunities by location, availability, organization, issue areas addressed, skills, age, accessibility and/or the program type.  The best way to view the most complete list of opportunities is to do a zip code search.

Your search should return several volunteer opportunities.  For more details on any opportunity, click the title.  If you are interested in an opportunity, fill out the “Express Interest” form (this will be a green column next to the opportunity description).  The agency should contact you soon! (Please remember that to express interest directly in an opportunity, you must create an account!)
