Trained volunteer Ambassadors expand outreach provided by Covenant Hospice Community Educators. Represent Covenant Hospice at community activities such as United Way events, health fairs, career fairs and senior centers in north Okaloosa and Walton counties. Speak to faith congregations, civic and community groups about Covenant Hospice programs and services. Deliver educational materials to healthcare professionals.

Covenant Hospice volunteers receive free training that prepares them to volunteer in many different ways. Training is offered throughout the year in all branch offices, at times that meet volunteers' schedules.

In addition to specialized training, Covenant Hospice volunteers are invited to participate in educational in-services, socials, receive volunteer newsletters and attend the annual volunteer appreciation banquet.
