C.O.P.E. Center is contacting local churches, community organizations and individuals to adopt a resident from our adult residential treatment facility. Community involvement is at the heart of recovery for our residential clients. Being a productive member of the community is important to everyone¿s life. Spiritual enrichment is also a part of recovery for our residents. Many of our mentally ill residents have no family or support system. Adopting a resident could include visiting with them, taking them to church, other community activities, or to the grocery store, having a group of youth draw pictures for them or send them cards, etc.
