The ManaTEEN Club was created by youth in 1994. As an initiative of the Volunteer Center of Manatee County Florida. Since that time, The ManaTEEN Club has grown to become recognized as one of the nation’s largest locally based youth volunteer programs with more than 14,000 members. ManaTEENs contribute in excess of 1 million hours of service annually to assist local organizations and
Florida ’s Suncoast community at-large. ManaTEEN membership is completely FREE and service is NEVER mandatory.
Youth are encouraged to join ManaTEENs as early as the 6th grade, volunteering whenever and wherever they are inspired to do so. Individual files for each ManaTEEN are maintained at the Volunteer Center of Manatee County, tracking their civic engagement efforts from 6th grade through college.
