Description:
Be the “eyes and ears” for the Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department – while hiking, biking or riding your horse.
Outdoor enthustists and residents interested in local resources are encouraged to apply!
Park hosts assist park visitors by sharing information about local wildlife, plants, recreational opportunities, current resource management projects and park regulations.
This year park hosts will visit eight county properties including Hall Ranch, Walker Ranch, Betasso Preserve, Walden Wildlife Habitat, Heil Valley Ranch, Mud Lake, Caribou Ranch Open Space and Rabbit Mountain Open Space.
Training will take place on Saturdays, May 30th and June 6th, 2009 from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Applications must be recieved by April 17, 2009 so that interviews can be completed prior to training.
