	Americorps AmeriCorps is a network of local, state, and national service programs that connects more than 70,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet our country¿s critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. AmeriCorps*VISTA provides full-time members to community organizations and public agencies to create and expand programs that build capacity and ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.
	Hands On Network/Points of Light Institute Hands On Network/Points of Light Institute & Volunteer Center National Network engages and mobilizes millions of volunteers who are helping to solve serious social problems in thousands of communities. Through a variety of programs and services, the Foundation encourages people from all walks of life ý businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, low-income communities, families, youth, and older adults ý to volunteer.
