Since 1969, our center has been supporting, leading, initiating and promoting volunteerism. At any given time, we maintain a database of 300 plus volunteer opportunities, across a wide spectrum of social service outreach programs. We work in partnership with 140+ area social service agencies and schools, and place between 10,000 and 15,000 volunteers annually.
We serve the north and northwest suburbs of
Cook
County as well as northern DuPage county in
Illinois .
Individuals and other special groups including youth, seniors, retirees, businesses and corporations can all come to The Volunteer Center for assistance in finding the perfect volunteer opportunity.
