The VCOC is a United Way agency that coordinates community volunteers with
the needs of over 57 nonprofit partners in Ozaukee and Gr. Milwaukee area.

Assists people in finding their perfect volunteer match.
         In 2008, we referred 3761 people to volunteer opportunities

• Works with individuals, schools, groups and businesses to fill their volunteer needs. 
• Hosts an annual Volunteer Recognition celebration.
• Participate in volunteer fairs and events.
• Develops programs to increase volunteerism and social activism

• Works with nonprofits to actively promote their agencies needs.  
• Publicize volunteer needs on www.volunteerozaukee.com and www.volunteermatch.org.
• Publicizes volunteer management newsletters to assist agencies in recruiting and retaining volunteers. 

Clearinghouse for donated goods and services.
      In 2008, we distributed $57,700 worth of donated items to community agencies

• Distributes donated items from individuals, schools, groups & businesses 
• Organize countywide collections, Make a Difference Day 
• Clearinghouse Collections actively solicit collections: Toys & teddy bears for kids, senior gifts, baby items. etc.
