To provide assistance and directions to the public who enter the building. Many citizens come to the courthouse for various reasons besides court hearings. They are not familiar with the building layout and the various departments and are in need of some guidance and direction.
Have good people skills, confidential, helpful and to be respectful and understanding that coming to the courthouse can be stressful even if you are just here for jury duty.
