Our handy helpers assists our senior population with making their homes safer so they are able to remain in their homes longer. Some of the repairs we handle are installing grab bars, installing or repairing railing, putting down non skid tape, installing smoke or carbon monoxide detectors , weatherizing and building wheel chair ramps. We are looking for some volunteers who are good with fixing things around the house. Anybody with carpentry experience who would be able to help design wheel chair ramps would be a plus. Also, we could desperately use licensed electricians or plummers to fix those kinds of repairs.
