Description:
Flagler County still needs volunteers without medical expertise to assist in what is being billed as the largest medical event of its kind in the county.
Flagler County Health Department and the Flagler County Emergency Services are working together on plans for a large vaccination campaign here for the H1N1 Flu. The operation will process and vaccinate thousands of residents against the H1N1 Flu.
Volunteers will be assigned to tasks such as replenishing the patient information slips on the clipboards, collecting clip boards/patient information, redistributing the clipboards, answering general questions and crowd assistance.
Vaccines will be available for volunteers at no charge as well as lunch on site.
A Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Wed, October 7th at 3pm at the Emergency Operations Center. If you are unable to attend, please call and we'll reschedule your training.
Clinics are scheduled to be open on Saturdays, October 24th-December 19th at Flagler Palm Coast High School and can be altered depending on delivery.
