Tutor and mentor elementary and middle school children in the Volusia Country Sheriff's Office PAL (Police Athletic League) after-school tutoring program. This tutoring program is separate from the athletic coaching program.

Time Details:
The tutoring center is open from approximately 2:30 - 5:30, Monday through Thursday. Volunteers usually take one or more afternoons per week. During the summer months volunteers are needed for recreation and field trips.
Enjoy working with children and ability to assist with basic homework; some children are hispanic and we welcome volunteers with a knowledge of Spanish but it is not required. All volunteers must undergo a background investigation and fingerprinting.
