Help Girl Scouts of Colorado build girls of courage, confidence, and character. Leaders must be able to plan and carry out the Girl Scout program with girls and adults. Ensure that the troop members have the opportunity to take an active part in Girl Scout activities.

Leaders should maintain and follow the standards and policies of Girl Scouts of Colorado and the national Girl Scouts of the USA, organization.

Must be able to communicate with girls and other adults. Leaders must have to ability to attend sessions designed to support leaders during the year.

Time Details:   Time is very flexible. Troop meetings can be any time, usually 2-3 times a month for 1-2 hours. The great thing about being a troop leader is how much control you have over time and location.

Special Requirements:   Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Complete the leader selection process including completion of an Adult Volunteer Application. Complete the appropriate leadership training required. Become a member of Girl Scouts of the USA.
