The United Way of Weld County Volunteer Center offers local volunteers access to hundreds of volunteer opportunities in one centralized database. The database is powered by the 1-800-volunteer.org software platform.
This innovative software program provides volunteer and volunteer groups (high school organizations, sororities, fraternities, etc) with the following features:
-A searchable, web-based database available 24 X 7.
-A comprehensive list of volunteer opportunities at over 45 different local organizations.
-Customizable profiles that allow volunteers and volunteer groups to search for volunteer opportunities based on interests, skills, and availability.
-Volunteer Calendar and sign-up forms.
-VolunteerAlert! A feature that automatically e-mails volunteers with upcoming opportunities that match the volunteer’s profile and preferences.
-Tracking of volunteer service hours.

DOVIA , Directors of Volunteers in Agencies, a local organization, which consists of volunteer coordinators and other professionals in
Weld
County who rely on volunteer assistance to fulfill their organization’s missions.
DOVIA Mission Statement - The mission of Weld County DOVIA is to serve as a network for area volunteer professionals, to provide training related to volunteerism, and to facilitate communication between agencies and groups associated with volunteer engagement.
Volunteer Management Training Series
The Volunteer
Management Training Series is a high quality comprehensive series of courses in volunteer management designed for non-profit agencies, businesses, schools and government organizations. The curriculum is based on research and effective practices in volunteer management. A Volunteer
Management Certificate is accomplished with successful completion of all six courses. Participants may attend each session individually and do not have to attend all six workshops. Certificate of individual workshop completion may be awarded to participants who don’t complete the entire series.
